Quick Release ESD Heel Strap – Fast, Reliable Foot Grounding for EPA Workspaces

Bondline’s Quick Release ESD Heel Strap provides fast, secure, and reliable grounding for personnel working inside an ESD Protected Area (EPA). Designed with a simple plastic clip fastening, this heel strap offers a convenient alternative to hook‑and‑loop styles, allowing operators to quickly attach or remove the strap without compromising safety or performance .

Manufactured to Bondline’s high standards, the HS2QR delivers long‑lasting comfort, durability, and consistent static control when used with grounded ESD flooring or matting. Each heel strap incorporates a 1 meg ohm safety resistor as standard.

The quick release ESD heel strap is made with a soft, two-layer rubber material, with black conductive on the outside and white on the inside to avoid any shoe marking. We recommend testing the heel straps before every use with a CWST3 footwear test station.

All grounding products are manufactured to the highest quality to ensure high comfort and long life. Heel straps should be worn on both feet for effective static dissipation to ground.

Specification:

• Construction: Strip of two-layered rubber sheet, insulate white and conductive back, attached to 1″ garter forming heel cup and 3/4″ elastic garter, with built-in 1 meg-ohm resistor on plastic connector, joined in series with the conductive tab and assembled with quick release clip.
• Black rubber surface conductivity: 8 x 10^(4) ohms
• White rubber surface conductivity: 1 x 10^(12) ohms
• Metal film resistor: 1 meg ohm + 20%
• Conductive tab: 160 ohms/inch (max.)
• Markings: With customer logo and date code
• Plastic parts: Made of antistatic nylon material
• Colour: Available in black/white rubber, black plastic connector and black quick release clip.
