Description
Part of our premium range, the double rubber ESD heel strap is designed to be long-lasting and visible in an ESD protected area. This heel strap is made with a double rubber grounding strip to extend the lifetime of the product. The heel strap is fluorescent in colour to allow supervisors to easily identify the correct fitting of the heel strap, even from a distance. They also provide high-visibility in low-light conditions. Double rubber ESD heel straps incorporate a 1 meg ohm safety resistor as standard. They have a simple hook and loop fastening which makes it easy for the operator to take the heel strap on and off. Provides continuous ESD protection when used in conjunction with grounded ESD flooring or matting.
All grounding products are manufactured to the highest quality to ensure high comfort and long life. Heel straps should be worn on both feet for effective static dissipation to ground. We recommend testing the heel straps before every use with a CWST3 footwear test station.
Double Rubber ESD Heel Strap Features:
- Construction: Constructed using 2 pieces of two layered rubber sheet, insulative white and conductive black, forming heel cup, assembled to a plastic connector with built in 1 meg resistor joined in serried with conductive tape.
- Black rubber surface conductivity: 8 x 10^(4) ohms.
- White rubber surface conductivity: 1 x 10^(12) ohms.
- Metal film resistor: 1 meg ohm + 20%.
- Markings: With customer logo and date code.
- Plastic parts: Made of antistatic nylon material.
- Fluorescent strap, allowing supervisors to easily identify correct fitting, even from a distance.
- Double rubber grounding strip for extended long life use.
