Description

Disposable ESD heel straps (HS4VS) are an easy to use, lightweight, and cost-effective ESD foot grounding solution.

This heel strap option is a low-cost alternative. These ESD foot straps are designed for temporary workers and plant visitors who need to enter a static protected area safely without the risk of ESD. The heel strap is made from an antistatic non-woven fabric, providing a safe and effective resistance using the conductive yarn in the antistatic fabric to create and maintain electrical contact between the ground and the body. The heel strap features a black conductive strip and yellow border to offer high visibility and support the enforcement of an ESD control programme.

The disposable ESD foot grounder is comfortable to wear and easy to apply. Using a pressure-sensitive adhesive, the strip sticks to the heel/sole of the footwear and the tall end connects with the body skin (especially the black conductive part). For best practice, the heel straps should be worn on each foot to ensure maximum ESD grounding protection. The grounding strip should have good electrical contact with the person’s body.

Sold in packs of 100 pieces (packs of 10 sheets with 10 individual heel grounders per sheet). The single-use foot grounders are 31cm long and 1.5cm wide.

A conductive plastic wall dispenser can be bought separately in addition to the ESD heel straps. The dispenser features a black backboard printed with vibrant yellow text and ESD caution symbols. Designed to be used with our disposable ESD heel straps, the dispenser provides a neat storage and dispensing solution for your workplace. The unit can be wall-mounted for convenient use when entering a static controlled area. The backplate features instructions on how to use the disposable heel straps to ensure proper use.

Please note: the dispenser does not come with any disposable ESD heel straps.
