ESD Overshoes

ESD overshoes with conductive grounding ribbon are a low-cost foot grounding solution, designed for short term use or PPE.

These anti-static blue over shoe covers protect static sensitive electronic components and electronics (i.e. PCBs and ICs) from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and help keep the floor clean. This foot grounding product provides an economical solution for visitors entering the EPA (Electrostatic Protected Area). The overshoes can be easily disposed of after one-time use or can be re-used again and again. By wearing anti-static overshoes, they prevent static electricity from building up when an operator moves and comes into contact with synthetic materials. The ESD shoe covers conduct static electricity to the ground to dissipate it, protecting electronic components from ESD events.

The static dissipative overshoes are made from a non-woven, polypropylene fabric. The overshoes are strong, lightweight and have an elasticated opening to provide a comfortable and easy fit for various shoe styles and sizes. They feature a grounding ribbon that fits inside of the operator’s footwear or sock, providing good electrical contact. The ESD foot covers feature a non-slip sole grip to avoid accidents in the workplace such as slips and falls. Suitable for use in a cleanroom environment (class ≥ 10.000 compatible) and can be used in other various industry environments such as engineering, manufacturing, healthcare, etc.

The ESD overshoes comes in a pack of 100 pieces in one-size. They are suitable for operators and visitors to wear in an electronics manufacturing environment or cleanroom.

Please note: The ESD overshoes must be used in conjunction with a grounded ESD floor or ESD floor mat in order to work.
