The Project Brief

As a new building was being built for production, Fujikura wanted a height adjustable ergonomic ESD workbench for their new area. Fujikura chose to work with Bondline Electronics Ltd because they liked the look of the ESD workbenches we proposed.

Preparation and Solution

Fujikura visited Bondline to see the workbench on site. Our team presented various options for them to consider. In addition, our team also had various meetings with them on site to understand what they required. ESD flooring and ESD workbenches were chosen as this fulfilled the customer’s requirement. The ESD flooring and workbenches Bondline provided met all the customer’s criteria on design, function, looks and budget.

The End Result

Approximately 35 ESD workbenches and 200 square meters of interlocking ESD floor tiles were ordered. Installation for everything took 5 days to complete. Everything was tested and certificates were issued in accordance with the IEC 61340-5-1 International Standard. Fujikura was extremely pleased with the finished result.

With the installation of ESD workbenches and interlocking ESD floor tiles, the customer now has a designated static controlled area in their new building which they can begin using at once to start production.
